The top of Dent de Vaulion has a unique view, because all 4 lakes are visible - Lac Léman, Lac Neuchâtel, Lac de Joux and Lac Brenet. I wish it was possible to fit them all into 1 photograph! We could easily spend the day staring at those views. The top was quite busy with tourists. We passed a few babies in baby backpacks and carriers. There are a few benches and picnic tables at the top, but it is also easy to sit on the grass. There is a Buvette next to the parking.
There is a small, steep ascent to get to the top from the parking (73m elevation gain ver 0.5 km). If you are not used to hiking, it can be a tough few minutes of climbing. The views are visible throughout the climb/descent. The summit was quite spread and each side offered a completely different, stunning view. Dent de Vaulion is definitely a special place and it is not common to see all those lakes in one view.
