TIPS:
HIKING WITH A BABY BACKPACK:
Some of the routes we are posting take a few hours to complete. Please follow your carrier / backpack advise on the max. length of walking and observe that your baby is able to breathe appropriately during the hikes.

HIKING WITH A PRAM:
The routes we are tagging as pram friendly, are usually suitable for all-terrain prams. Please be aware that a small travel / city pram may not be suitable for such routes.

GENERAL HIKING GEAR:
Whether it is warm weather hiking or winter hiking, our general advise is to wear appropriate footwear. Majority of our hikes require shoes with deep grooves at the soles.

WEATHER:
- We advise to always check weather before setting off on a hike.
- We advise to bring adequate shadowing for a pram or a backpack. Please note that many safety sites discourage putting clothes / towels / covers on top of a pram and only proper shading with UV protection is considered as appropriate and safe against overheating. More information on the topic can be found here.

WINTER HIKING:
- The same hiking route may look different each time it is visited due to varying weather conditions.
- We advise to consider appropriate footwear - winter boots, detachable shoe spikes or snowshoes (snow racquets).
