A very quiet area, ideal for a break or a picnic. It is not as famous as Frick for it's cherry trees, making Nuglar an ideal spot to relax in peace. The feeling of being in the middle of the plantation starts after around ~250m from the car park. There are a number of paths between the trees, therefore it is possible to do some small walks following the dirt roads. We did not meet anyone on our small trip there.
Unlike in Frick, it is allowed to step on the grass between the trees. There are plenty of benches dispersed between the trees, allowing a lot of intimate niches to rest in. Many bird houses and the quietness of the place makes it even easier to come across birds and bumblebees than in Frick.

Our goûte spot (with a bumblebee queen flying around us).
We combined our hike and lunch picnic in Frick with an afternoon goûte picnic in Nuglar, before heading back home.
