What a lovely local walk this was. Our son really enjoyed walking sections of this pathway by himself, meeting animals and an occasional dog. We passed a big farm where he saw pigs and piglets, cows, goats, horses and chickens. This hilly quiet route is great for a piece of mind and is also suitable for dog companions. It is not a walk I would recommend for one to drive over an hour, but it is an enjoyable stroll if you live nearby. If it is a clear day, you can see alps in the far distance. There was not many benches but we did come across a few.
Even though the route starts with a short section going through the forest, the majority of the walk is on the fields. This can be important if it is a very hot day or if one has hay fever. This small hike allows views at surrounding hills at many locations. Mostly the route is car-width, but it varies between the ground cover of gravel, dirt and tarmac. There are a few sections where it is a single fields track. We walked through a few farms and were able to see a lot of animals, mainly cows.
This hike is beautifully detailed on Randonnees Pedestres website here.
