A beautiful place to relax, without much walking. An easily accessible view at all those colourful tulips. There is a large playground on the West side of the park, across the river. Many large trees around the park also offer play & climbing opportunities for kids. The park is not huge and it was rather crowded with people during a sunny weekend.

In 2021, the festival is between 1st April & 9th May.

There were plenty of take-away booths around the park, including snacks, crêpes and sausages. I would say, it is a perfect spot for a family Sunday picnic!

There are 145,000 tulips of around 275 varieties and they all bloom at different times, allowing the event to run along 11 weeks during spring. The park has plenty of small paths, where one could easily walk ~1.3km. Morges Tourism also suggests a 2.5km walk around the tulip exhibitions and the lake shoreline. Walking on grass is also allowed.

Morges-Tourisme website gives general information about the event here. Those can also be accessed through Region-du-leman website here.
