It was an enjoyable, very, very peaceful walk. It was our second time hiking with snowshoes (racquets), so we were very excited to go on a panoramic walk even in a very cloudy weather. This trail seemed like it could easily disappear if it snowed. Once we walked away from the ski slopes, we didn't meet any hikers on this route. Nearby, there is Horneggli restaurant with stunning views from the terrace; and Igloo Dorf Bar.
To get to the starting point of this hike, we took 2 ski lifts from Saanenmöser. The whole route was rather flat, so the only obstacle we had to tackle was the snow at our feet. Just after the right turn panoramic views opened up. We briefly walked through the forest and there were even nicer views around us once we got out of it. We were quite amazed by the amounts of snow at the top when we saw the tips of summer hiking posts popping out of the snow! Once we came back to our starting point, we took the same 2 lifts down to Saanenmöser.
