What a fun place to explore! We visited Ogoz Island a few times: by walking there through the low water level walkway and by kayaking there during a high water level. The walk is super child friendly and eye pleasing for everyone. Plenty of sand play and throwing little stones into the lake made our son very happy! There are also a number of information boards around. The beach and the walk to the Ogoz island can get quite crowded by families, dogs, cyclists and runners. Please note that the direct walking access to the island can be temporary prohibited as a protective measure against Covid.
There are no restaurants or cafés nearby, but it is a perfect place for a picnic; either on the beach side or the island itself. There are a few benches and picnic tables on the hiking route no. 261 close to the Ogoz Island.
There are 2 ways of accessing the Island from the parking area - following route no. 261 or walking alongside the beach.

It takes about 5 min to get to the junction of both pathways from the car parking. The ground covering of the beach varies between small & big stones and sticky mud (see photo). The access point to the island is mainly made of stones and gravel; while route no. 261 is a forest way. Our shoes kept getting stuck to the mud, making it much slower to walk.
