The hike is quite pretty and it starts with a beautiful sight of Lucens Castle. The castle acts as a venue for a variety of events and workshops, so you could join other activities before or after this walk. The hike is also quite short. There were not many benches on the way, but a few pretty grass meadows where one could have a picnic.

The first half of the walk is in the forest with single tracks. Starting from the car park, there is a small incline through the forest road, which then joins the main road. It is not long, but we had to follow the main road to properly start this walk. Once we were back in the forest, there was a lot of dead leaves on the pathway. There were steps and inclines, but we didn't find the ground surface slippery. The forest routes follow the river, making the path very pleasant. There is a meadow with access to the river. Also, there is a pretty, mini, foot suspension bridge for which we had to wait a few minutes, as not many people could fit on it. The second part of the hike goes across fields and small villages. We also came across a "Bridge of philosophers", which is a timber platform hovering over a fields of plants.

We did this small hike during spring time and we were very lucky to come across a beautiful daisy meadow.
